Online Nutritional Therapist
Nutritional therapy is an integral part of the personalised care pathway at Mosaic Medical. Jessica, the clinic’s Registered Nutritional Therapist, works closely with all of our functional medicine doctors to provide evidence-informed dietary and lifestyle support that complements your medical treatment. She brings twelve years of clinical experience and advanced training, with a particular focus on the relationship between food, metabolism, digestion, immunity and long-term health. All appointments are held online, so you can work with her from anywhere in the UK.
Nutritional therapy is most effective when delivered over time. Although patients are welcome to book a single consultation, Jessica’s clinical experience shows that the most meaningful improvements often happen between the second and third consultations. For that reason we also offer consultation packages for patients who would like more structured, ongoing support.
How Nutritional Therapy Complements Medical Care
Jessica’s role is to enhance the work of our doctors by supporting the body’s natural systems at every stage of the care pathway. Her recommendations can help improve digestive function, modulate inflammation, balance blood glucose, support cardiovascular health, and promote metabolic resilience. When nutritional therapy sits alongside medical care, patients often experience greater symptom relief, improved treatment tolerance and stronger long-term outcomes.
She supports a wide range of presentations, from digestive and hormonal issues to cardiometabolic, immune-related and complex chronic conditions, including IBS, food sensitivities and autoimmune conditions. All guidance is personalised and carefully aligned with your medical plan.
Personalised Nutrition Testing
Nutrition advice works better when it is based on your own biology rather than general guidelines. Where testing will change your plan, your doctor and Jessica can arrange and interpret it together.
This may include:
- Microbiome and stool testing, including our Gut Health MOT, to understand digestion, diversity and inflammation
- Food sensitivity and reactivity testing, interpreted carefully, as we explain in our article on food reactivity testing
- Nutrient and metabolic panels, covering iron studies, B vitamins, vitamin D, magnesium and zinc
- Advanced lipid and blood sugar markers, which we cover in our article on advanced lipid testing
- Continuous glucose monitoring, to see how your own meals affect your blood sugar in real time
Testing is always optional and only recommended when the results will meaningfully change your recommendations. Your plan is then built around what the results show, your preferences and your daily life.

Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)
Jessica offers structured support for patients using a Continuous Glucose Monitor. She helps individuals interpret their glucose patterns and adjust their food choices to support metabolic stability, energy, hormone balance, and long-term health. CGM guidance can be particularly helpful for those managing insulin resistance, perimenopause, metabolic dysfunction, or weight changes.
Nutritional Support for Patients Taking GLP-1 Medications
Jessica also supports patients who are using GLP-1 agonists as part of their medical treatment. These medications influence appetite, digestion, and metabolic regulation, which means nutritional guidance can improve comfort and outcomes. Jessica helps patients maintain adequate nutrient intake during appetite suppression, manage common digestive side effects, and adopt sustainable eating patterns while leveraging the metabolic benefits of treatment. Her focus is on supporting cardiovascular health, blood sugar balance, and long-term habit formation in a way that complements each patient’s medical plan.

FAQs About Online Nutritional Therapy
Is nutritional therapy really effective online?
Yes. Assessment, education, planning and most follow-up are well suited to virtual care. When needed, we will coordinate local labs or at-home test kits.
Will I need tests?
Only if results will change your plan. Tests will generally be ordered by the Mosaic doctor who are under.
Can I keep my GP involved?
Absolutely. We can share summaries and work alongside your GP or specialist.
Do you prescribe supplements?
Sometimes, and only when justified. Food foundations come first.

What Patients Are Saying
I cannot recommend Jessica enough. I came to Mosaic after struggling with IBD for many years with fatigue and extreme tiredness. After trying every other avenue, I was frustrated and not progressing and felt I needed guidance with health and nutrition. Jessica, with her knowledge and compassion, structured meal plans and big changes were required, but easy to follow. Jessica explained why these changes had been made and the benefits that could be achieved. Within a few weeks I noticed big improvements. This is the start of my new journey, and feel I have the confidence to continue with the ongoing support.
Patient
Jessica is very knowledgeable and explains everything clearly. Her reports are detailed and I can easily follow the course of action I need to take before my next appointment.
With Jessica’s help I have made big steps towards finally being able to eat normally again.
I always come away from my meetings with Jessica feeling positive and with her expert advice I have already achieved so much.
Patient
My work with Jessica, the nutritionist, was extremely helpful. I wore a continuous blood sugar monitor for four weeks. Jessica did very detailed analyses of the results (which I enabled her to view live) and as a result I changed my eating habits. It was useful and an informative part of the process I am going through with this outstanding medical practice.
