Breast Cancer Services

At Mosaic Medical, we provide personalised integrative support for women at every stage of the breast cancer journey — from reducing risk and navigating treatment to living well with metastatic disease.

Our approach combines conventional medical understanding with evidence-informed nutrition, lifestyle medicine and advanced functional testing to support the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

How can we help you?

Whether you have a strong family history, dense breasts, previous breast cancer, or simply want to take a more proactive approach to your health, we help you understand the factors that may influence breast cancer risk.

There is now growing evidence that metabolic health, inflammation, hormone balance, sleep, nutrition, movement and environmental exposures all play a role in breast cancer development and recurrence risk.

Our role is to help you focus on the areas that genuinely matter — without overwhelm, fear or unnecessary intervention.

Support may include:

Ideal for women who:

A breast cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming. Many women are looking for safe, evidence-informed ways to support their bodies alongside surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine therapy or immunotherapy.

At Mosaic Medical, we work alongside your oncology team to help support patients through conventional treatment while also supporting resilience, recovery and quality of life
Our integrative approach is designed to complement — not replace — conventional cancer care.

We may support you with:

We understand that every woman’s experience is different. Some patients want practical nutritional support. Others want a deeper exploration of the “why” behind their diagnosis. Our role is to meet you where you are.

Living with metastatic breast cancer brings unique physical and emotional challenges. Many women are looking for ways to feel more supported, more informed and more empowered in day-to-day life.

Our approach focuses on helping you optimise quality of life, resilience and overall wellbeing alongside your oncology treatment.

We understand that this journey is deeply individual. Some patients want help navigating nutrition and side effects. Others are seeking support with fatigue, anxiety, sleep, treatment tolerance, or maintaining strength, independence and quality of life.

Support may include:

Meet Your Team

Your care is led by Dr Amy Walker, who combines her background as a former NHS consultant with additional training in functional medicine and integrative oncology following her own breast cancer diagnosis.

The Breast Cancer Service was created from a desire to offer patients the kind of care many women feel is missing — time, personalised support, and a space to explore the wider factors influencing health and wellbeing alongside conventional cancer treatment.

Nutritional therapy is an integral part of the Breast Cancer Service. Jessica Fonteneau works closely alongside Dr Walker to provide evidence-informed nutritional and lifestyle support for patients at all stages of the breast cancer journey.

Together, Dr Walker and Jessica provide an integrated and highly personalised approach, combining medical, nutritional and lifestyle support tailored to each individual.

Sometimes standard medical testing does not tell the whole story.

Where appropriate, we may use advanced functional and genomic testing to gain a deeper understanding of factors such as hormone balance, metabolic health, inflammation, gut health and detoxification pathways.

This may include:

Not everyone needs extensive testing. For many women, focusing on nutrition, sleep, movement, stress and metabolic health is the most important starting point.
