Laura is an experienced GP with a career journey that reflects both breadth and passion for patient-centred care. She began her career with a focus on Genitourinary Medicine (GUM), which led her to London, where she worked in HIV and Tuberculosis care and pursued specialised roles in GUM. Her background in hospital medicine eventually transitioned to general practice, where she continued to focus on reproductive health, earning a Diploma in Sexual Health and Family Planning. Recently, Laura has shifted toward a more holistic approach to healthcare, addressing root causes of illness through lifestyle and dietary interventions. This shift inspired her to complete the Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice training, and she is a registered member of the Institute of Functional Medicine.
